The Library has received dozens of DVDs, donated by the owners of Midwest Tapes (who vacationed in Moab and liked our community very much!) and the Friends of the Library.  In addition, the library owns a collection of Film Movement DVDs, which are new, international independent films.

The Library is the recipient of the Malinda and Yvon Chouinard collection of mountaineering books.  We have added a limited number of titles to the collection and they are now available for checkout.

The Library Director is excited to announce the addition of the Foundation Center collection of grant-writing and fundraising resources. Training sessions are offered regularly. Contact the Director for a schedule and introduction to the Collection.

Best-Sellers and "Oprah Books":
    The Librarian checks the American Booksellers Association Bestseller List and Kirkus Reviews weekly and adds new books to the collection regularly.  Oprah Winfrey, through the American Library Association, has resumed her book discussion donation program.  Recent contributions include The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Anna Karenina, One Hundred Years of Solitude, East of Eden and Cry, the Beloved Country.
